Procurement and Supplier Manager

Job description and Role

In this role, you will lead the procurement team. Together with the team you bring the department to the next stage of maturity by building on the current processes and procedures. You will guarantee the high quality of services we provide to our customers by building and managing our international network of suppliers.

You will achieve these goals through the following activities:

  • Managing the procurement team;

  • Improving the procurement strategy, policy and processes.

  • Aligning the procurement roadmap with the business goals;

  • Managing the performance of our strategic suppliers;

  • Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers;

  • Performing tenders for strategic contracts;

You will be a valuable member of the cross-functional teams that work on new developments in e-commerce, online marketing and IT, to ensure good cooperation with current suppliers and selection of new suppliers.


Boxes to tick

You are the Procurement and supplier manager we are looking for if you have the following characteristics

  • A relevant Bachelor degree. Masters degree will be a ‘plus’.

  • Minimum of 5 years experience + relevant work experience in procurement;

  • Experience with procurement of services, preferably in IT and (online) marketing;

  • Experience as category manager or procurement lead is a plus;

  • Knowledge of public procurement is preferred;

  • You have excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English;

  • Previous experience of working in an international environment is preferred;

  • With your positive energy, ideas and output, you know how to engage stakeholders and achieve results;

  • You feel at home in an online environment, working with young colleagues at both a professional and an informal level;

  • You are passionate about travel.
