UX Designer

Job description and role

As the UX Designer, you will – with your passion – translate business purposes and user needs into innovative and differentiating designs. This will result in a visually attractive, efficient and intuitive user experience:

  • Bring concepts to life with appropriate designs;

  • Contribute to high-level strategic design decisions and roadmap planning;

  • Collect qualitative and quantitative data and insights to make design decisions;

  • Share your learnings with the rest of the team;

  • Communicate your designs to customers as well as your development team, not only sharing the results but also the stories behind your designs;

  • Give data meaning through excellent information design and achievable visualisations;

  • Track and evaluate KPI's with all changes and improvements;

  • Work on multiple challenging agile projects simultaneously, in which your contribution is key to success;

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.

You are the UX Designer we are looking for if you have the following characteristics:

  • You have 4+ years of experience designing products and services for responsive web.

  • You have strong analytical skills to identify and scope opportunities.

  • You have experience working cross-functionally in a dynamic and interdependent environment.

  • Your designs are cross-browser compatible and SEO-friendly

  • You have demonstrated experience building UX deliverables such as wireframes, design mock-ups, flowcharts, functional specifications and style guides.

  • You are highly organised and self-motivated.

  • You are entrepreneurial and fearless, and you have a sense of humour.

  • Strong analytical skills to identify and scope opportunities.

  • Experience working cross-functionally in a dynamic and interdependent environment.

  • Previous experience of working in an international environment.

  • Comfortable in an online environment, working with young colleagues at both a professional and an informal level.

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills.
